Dissertation

Objectives

Preparing the dissertation implies the student’s enrollment in a research and development project of medium/large dimensions. this enrollment will allow the student to:

  • Deepen the knowledge obtained during his Higher Education path.
  • Be able to identify and delimit the problem being tackled, as well as design a methodology to approach that problem.
  • Develop competencies to perform autonomous research in Cybersecurity.
  • Develop autonomy, responsibility, and teamwork capabilities. In the end, the student must write and publicly present a written document, promoting soft skills such as synthesis and oral/written communication.  

Program

The syllabus of the dissertation course unit is specific to each student, depending on the assigned topic. This is a work based on literature review, case studies or research and involves the development of a written document that synthesizes the work carried out. The work should implement all tasks defined in the Dissertation Plan.
